that even as we evolve spiritually, we will change in little increments, by taking baby steps. In our next stage of being, we will be more spiritual than we are now, but we will still have many of the attributes of the animal, but only those attributes that we have not yet mastered. Using the same logic, it would be natural that those people who have totally mastered their animal heritage on Earth would be transformed into forms that are commensurate with their spiritual status. Each level, each stage of our evolutionary progress would hold lessons to be learned, as there are in this stage of existence. It is after completion of each level that we would be upgraded to a new form, becoming ever more spiritual as we progress. The road to perfection is long and may take millions of years, as we measure time with our limited perception, but it cannot be anything but a joyous and fulfilling one, although not necessarily easy, for much of our learning will still be a result of overcoming challenges. The learning curve is probably the steepest here on Earth, where the energy of the Creator first imbeds itself into a material form, nurtures and evolves it into a creature of spiritual potential and yearns to become one with it and journey back to its place of origin. No matter how much we evolve and into what form we change, I think we will always remember fondly the experiences we have here.
2. Movement Through Space and Time
Presently we are here on Earth. Paradise is our destination. It will take some effort to get there. It is naive to think we are going to die and instantly be transformed into a perfect being without earning it. If there is anything I've learned here on Earth, it's that anything worthwhile has to be earned. It will take many transformations, possibly millions of years of spiritual evolution and a journey through millions of light years to get there, as Paradise is not only a state of spiritual consciousness but also a real geographical location in the center of the universe. This is a concept that may not be readily acceptable to many people. Paradise, a real geographic location in space? Why? Why not? Heaven and paradise has been in the consciousness of humans for thousands of years. At certain times in the past, some cultures have thought of Paradise as being in a land far, far away across the ocean, above the clouds, or in another country. After the Earth was explored to its fullest, people began to think of Paradise as a mystical, ethereal place, a non-material, dreamlike domain of uncertain composition. The universe is elliptical, which means that it is both mystical and rational, spiritual and material. So that would mean that spiritual reality is not a totally separate realm from material reality but a domain that is superimposed upon the foundations of matter. Or looking at it from the spirit perspective, material reality is a domain superimposed upon a spiritual foundation. So Paradise, the center of spiritual reality, would also be the center of material reality. As we are transformed through spiritual evolution, we traverse the spiritual domain, getting ever closer to the center. At the same instance, we, as transformed entities in our Personality matrix, are moving closer to the center of space through time, gaining experience and learning the lessons of the ages upon sphere after sphere, stage after stage, level upon level, getting spiritually and physically closer to God. The Creator did not make this vast universe for nothing. There is a purpose for all those suns, planets, and star systems. Since spiritual reality is superimposed on matter, what kind of spiritual reality exists on those far-flung planets? Where human eyes and instruments only see airless and lifeless expanses of rock, what would spiritual eyes see?
3. Upgrading From Lower Spiritual Influences To Higher Spiritual Influences
What process in the mind can be said to be totally from an inner source? All acts and thoughts than stem from memory - past causal events in the external world - are of external origin. What comes solely from an inner source? And can we be sure that they are indeed from the inner, and not merely a delayed memory function? We can see our inner workings when Personality disrupts the normal chain of cause/effect events of the material world to create something outside those processes, such as when we convert the negative into the positive, that is, return good for evil. Animals cannot do this as they have no choice in the matter. They are hardwired to respond like a machine. Humans have an inner switch that enables us to break away from the material chain of events. Spiritual urges like intuition, courage, and understanding are also derived from that inner source. There are natural stepping stones to going from material reality to spiritual reality. These graduated steps are not readily discernible and not identified by most people as such, but they are there. It merely takes looking at it from a certain perspective to see that they exist. As our body grows, our nutritional requirement changes. We start from mother's milk, then to baby food, then as we become able to chew, we begin to eat solid food, although even then, our childish tastes continue to change as we grow older, from sweets, pizza and hamburgers to more refined dishes. Similarly, the spiritual nutrition that is required by our human vehicle undergoes changes also. We start from animal needs to human needs, and then to what our soul requires.
