every moment of existence. It is being superconscious and unified with the Creator and with the universe in all of time and space. When we are one with God and the universe, we take the viewpoint of God and the universe and feel his presence. And this profound spiritual experience results in faith. But in order to direct this force out in the material world, we must have physical and mental stamina. Stamina is not strength. A skinny runner may have more stamina than a muscle bound weight lifter, even if the weight lifter may have more strength. Stamina, in a sense, is the amount of will as embodied in the person. Taken all together, this combination of mindal creative effort multiplied by faith and directed by our physical and mental stamina results in a new dynamic force, the qi.
However, reducing an elliptical force into a linear formula just does not convey the fullness of its reality. It is like trying to express a beautiful work of art using mathematics. It can be done but much is lost. Using poetry to express qi works much better:

Be One and be All.
Feel within, feel without
The Energy.
Now dig deep and stream
from the center
to the outside.
Qi works because when we become one with the supreme mind of the universe, using the power of mind and faith, we become one with the Supreme's overcontrol of the universe. Just as we can control our own bodies to a degree, we can gain more control of the universe around us. This is also known as power/personality synthesis. Of course, there are things even within our bodies that we cannot control, such as the fact that we must eat, defecate, breathe, sleep, etc., and likewise our control of our part of the universe is also limited. But it is possible to gain more control in both the macro and micro universes by getting to know more intimately what makes things work. Physical and mental stamina resulted in science and technology which is the way we learned how to manipulate the material parts of the universe. Strength of imagination and the power of faith works on the mindal and spiritual realities. The seamless merging of those aspects results in elliptical technology. And it is reflected in the Now and in the All. We refer back to the fractal concept again; the eternal that is realized here and now is fractally represented in all of time, space and eternity. What is in eternity is fractally represented in the here and now. One does not happen before the other, as cause and effect is the same and happens simultaneously.
But qi is not an ethereal mental energy. We make it work by manifesting it through our bodies. It has often been used in healing by the laying on of hands, in martial arts by the strengthening of physical and mental power, and in self-control and self-healing by having the qi course through one's body. Because it is an elliptical force, it is not measurable by any known scientific instrument at this time, in a sense qi is not applied but implied, it is inferred by association with divinity. Being elliptical it is also not purely mystical in that it is not faith healing. It is a tangible force that affects reality, just not in either a mystical or scientific way, but seamlessly consisting of both: it is elliptical. And since qi is so dependent on the oneness of mind between us and the Creator/universe, qi will not work to further something that is only of one person's desires if it is not within the framework of universal values. That is why qi can be used for healing, empowerment of the one and the whole, bettering relationships, and other goals that further the relationship of the One with the All. Even in martial arts, qi is used for self-defense and not for personal gain or for getting an unfair advantage over others.
Qi is not a magical force. It is not a substitute for experience, skill, intelligence or ability. However, with qi, one can get a fuller experience, a more finely honed skill, a sharper intelligence and better ability.
To use the power of qi, get into the consciousness of being one with the All and have absolute faith that your endeavor will succeed. Do not apply this force with the strength of the arm, but imply it with the strength of the whole body. Do not apply it with the desire of one person but imply it with the desire of the whole universe. Do not apply it with the force of the one but imply it with the force of the All. Because qi is not a power that originates from the person but rather through association with God, the person is just an instrument. That is why focusing on yourself breeds separation, stiffness and tension, and it leaches strength and power. Focusing on the All unifies us, relaxes us, comforts us, and it taps into unlimited strength and power.
The center of qi in the human body is not in the brain, it is in the tan tien, or the point just below one's navel and toward the base of the spine. This is the center of gravity of the human body and the focal point for the mind used in alternative medicine and in some martial arts. By relaxing and letting the whole weight of the body rest on this nexus, one can tap into the source of this power.
Whereas philosophy and religion can only deal in the mindal and spiritual aspects of life, elliptic techniques are able to actually manipulate all things, meanings and values in life in the respective fields of science, health, finances, ethics, the arts and personal/spiritual relationships.
