ing control of true reality through dynamic and effective processes based on the accurate perception and knowledge of elliptical reality. However, the proof is in the pudding, and words are meaningless unless the technique or process can attain profound results repeatedly and at will. Qi is one of the puddings. It has shown that it can work but its potential is still largely untapped and unfulfilled. By knowing how qi works we can tap into its potential to bring about changes in personal and public life that will indeed be profound. When mind unites spirit and energy/matter seamlessly, we see this displayed in our lives because the result becomes a work of art. In this life, it is only in our souls and in art that we see an even mix of both the material and spiritual. So a life based on elliptical philosophy and elliptical techniques such as using the qi would be well-suited in mastering the art of life.
Life As Art
To live life as an art. To master the art of life. What does that mean? True art is derived from inspiration. It is not a linear diagram or something based on a blueprint like an architectural drawing. The artist may not even know what the final work may look like as inspiration could come in at any moment to influence the progress of the art. The lives of all great spiritual leaders were works of art. They had a purpose for living life as a human but did not pre-plan every second in order to achieve that purpose. They did not have a blueprint for life that they followed to the letter. Rather, they constantly listened to the leadings of the Creator as they went along with their daily activities, changing and adjusting their ways and methods as needed. They were flexible and receptive, rarely asserting the thoughts and plans of the human mind over the Creator's. The lives that they led are truly great works of art, filled with light and darkness, with joy and sorrow, peopled with a cast showing friendship and betrayal, love and hatred, truth and error. Of course, their lives may not be something that we would like to emulate. And we do not have to. Their lives were unique expressions and manifestations of their role as avatars of God and they artistically expressed their personality and mission. We, as ascending mortals, each have what we want to express. And as co-creators of our art form, the story of our lives, we have some say-so as to how much darkness and how much light we wish to shine onto the stage of our lives. We are able to choose, to a great extent, the amount of joy, sorrow, love and conflict we display in the art form of life that we lead daily. We can participate with God in co-creating our selves, for we are ascending beings in all our beauty, agony, love and travails. But realize that the pattern of the art form has already been set to synchronize with all the other players in this cosmic drama. The part that you play must fit in with the overall scheme of things. Realize that the script of your story in the fulfillment of your eternal career was written by the infinite author, God. The story is a good one, as God is a masterful storyteller. And have faith and be assured that it is a better story than one that you could possibly imagine. However, God decided to give you a voice in how the story unfolds, a chance to do a bit of improvisation, if you will. You can, through your own efforts change the story to a certain degree, but don't go crazy. Unfortunately, there are people who do not trust the way the story is unfolding so they decide to alter it drastically according to their own limited vision. This can lead to a tale of sorrow and darkness, a story that does not have a happy ending. To avoid this do your inner work regularly so that you become one with the Creator connection within you, then you'll have a general idea of the story. And once you do, you will realize that all you have to do is to have faith in God and follow the script. Have fun, be creative but keep the improvisations to tasteful limits. Your happiness, prosperity and fulfillment is all written. As it is written, so shall it be.
II. Relationships With Others
What is the best way to relate to people? What is the "terrain" when it comes to personal relationships? Like the universe, people are elliptical: both mystical and logical, spiritual and material, scientific and religious. What is the best way to act toward others? A common concept that is espoused by most religions is the Golden Rule.
The Golden Rule and the Golden Ratio
Every wisdom tradition has its version of the Golden Rule that says: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Math and Science has what is known as the Golden Mean or the Divine Proportion which may go back as far as the Egyptians and was closely studied by the Greek sculptor, Phidias, hence, it was given the name Phi (pronounced fee). Also referred to as the Golden Mean, the Magic Ratio, the Golden Constant, Golden Ratio, the Fibonacci Sequence, etc., phi can be found throughout the universe; from the spirals of galaxies to the spiral of a Nautilus seashell; from the
