without need of a personal name or institutional denomination. To paraphrase Lao Tsu as he wrote in the Tao Te Ching, "The Tao that is understood is not the eternal Tao. The name of God is not the eternal being." The soul interacts with the reality of God, not with just an intellectual concept of God. From the mind spirit of wisdom to the wisdom of the soul: Much of human wisdom is based on philosophical works, a compendium of human experience that is recorded verbally and/or orally. Soul wisdom, like soul knowledge is based on experiential trial and error and existential spiritual consciousness. The mind spirit of wisdom coordinates and articulates the first six mind spirits, the lower spiritual influences, while soul wisdom coordinates the higher spiritual influences. Soul wisdom is the acme of spiritual performance. Soul wisdom is the goal of a material existence dominated by spirit. Intellectual wisdom is straightforward and linear, soul wisdom is often paradoxical and elliptical, as it must operate within the duality of both the material and the spiritual.
The following may enable you to get a better understanding of the Seven Adjutant Mind Circuits (Spirits) and how they are augmented and eventually superseded by the higher spiritual influences.
1. The Circuit Of Intuition--quick perception, the primitive physical and inherent reflex instincts of the mind, the self-preservative endowments of all mind creations; the one circuit that also functions largely in the lower orders of animal life and the only one that reaches down to contact the non-teachable levels of mechanical mind, such as insects.
Do you have the ability to perceive things quickly without reasoning it out? Not reflex instincts of the physical body, for they are bio-mechanical, but quick mental perception such as hunches that often come true? Do you sometimes surprise yourself because you seem to know things before it happens? Do you seem to have a knack of ascertaining some things that goes beyond mere reasoning and logic? This is the act of an adjutant mind spirit of intuition ministering in your mind. Reflect on this ability that you have. Then, as you become more aware of the influence of the spirit of intuition, think of those times when your perception transcended intuition. As you identify more and more with your soul, you will experience the soul's way of quick perception and use less and less the spirit of animal intuition. Identifying with the soul, you will begin to perceive things quickly not by mindal intuition but by spiritual faith and insight. Reflect on how faith and insight can supplement and then sometimes even replace animal intuition.
2. The Circuit Of Understanding--the impulse to coordinate and associate ideas automatically and spontaneously. The ability to coordinate acquired knowledge, the significant occurrence of agile reasoning, keen judgment, and prompt decision.
When you were first taught mathematics such as the addition and multiplication tables, you merely memorized the numbers. You put into your mind that certain combinations of numbers resulted in other combinations of numbers. As you grew older you began to understand why the first set of numbers resulted in the second set of numbers. When you are driving and see that the stoplight is red, you stop because you were taught that that is what you do when the light is red. But, when you realize that this system of red, yellow and green lights is necessary to have an orderly system of managing traffic, then you begin to truly understand why you must follow the system of lights. The mind spirit of understanding is what urges us to go beyond mere learning by rote. Take a moment to experience consciously the presence of this mind spirit. Treasure this spirit and recognize that understanding with the mind is followed by understanding with the soul. With the soul, understanding comes from spiritual reasoning, not from intellectual reasoning. If you see that the light is green, but that there is someone still walking across the road, you yield right of way even though the green light says you can go. If you yield because you realize that running over the person may get you in jail, it is merely intellectual understanding, if you yield because your soul feels empathy and compassion for the person and realize it is the right thing to do, a moral choice, then it is soul intelligence.
3. The Circuit Of Courage--the urge of loyalty to personal values, the basis of character, moral stamina and spiritual bravery. When enlightened by facts and inspired by truth, this is the route of spiritual evolution by intelligent and conscientious self-direction.
Courage to defy being physically hurt is courage of the flesh. Courage to reject unreasoned fears is courage of the mind. Falling on a grenade to protect your buddies in times of war is courage of the flesh. It has been said that people fear public speaking more than anything else in the world, even death. This fear is often unreasoned. But whether unreasoned or not, public speaking does require courage, as does many things in life. Even to stand up and give your seat in a crowded bus for an elderly person, to get out of bed in the morning when you know you
